This is a test to see if I can blog from my email in Ethiopia.......hopefully I can figure out how to put on a picture as well. We leave TOMORROW!!!!! I am so sad to leave Jackson though, please pray that I have peace about leaving my little man for 8 days!

you can put on a picture by doing it as an attachment to the email, but make sure you resize it first to pretty small--we had our laptop and so resized our pics in our room as well as typed our emails there, then saved them on a flash drive and just cut and pasted into the email so it dodn't bog down the SLOW dial up. also, if you have gmail, BEFORE you leave, go to the gmail home page and set your email to "read as HTML"--that way, when you open it in Eth, it will come up without all the graphics that will again bog down the dial up service at the union. by doing it that way, we were able to blog post and email in like 10-15 minutes a day
